- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup plain yogurt
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
2. In a separate bowl, combine the milk, yogurt, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Whisk until well blended.
3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Stir together until just combined. Do not over-mix; the batter should be slightly lumpy.
4. Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Lightly grease the surface with butter or cooking spray.
5. Pour around 1/4 cup of batter onto the hot skillet for each pancake.
6. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook on the other side until golden brown and cooked through.
7. Repeat with the remaining batter, adding more butter or cooking spray as needed.
8. Serve the pancakes warm with your favorite toppings such as maple syrup, fresh fruits, or whipped cream.
