French Toast

- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
- 8 slices of bread (preferably stale bread)
- Butter or cooking spray for greasing the pan

1. In a shallow bowl or pie plate, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, sugar, and cinnamon until well combined.
2. Heat a large non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat.
3. Grease the surface with butter or cooking spray.
4. Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, allowing it to soak for a few seconds on each side.
5. Transfer the bread slices to the heated skillet or griddle.
6. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
7. Remove the French toast from the skillet or griddle and place on a serving plate.
8. Repeat the process with the remaining slices of bread.
9. Serve the French toast warm with your favorite toppings such as maple syrup, powdered sugar, fresh fruits, or whipped cream. Enjoy!
