Baked Ziti


- 1 pound ziti pasta
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 jar (24 oz) pasta sauce
- 1 cup water
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 egg
- Salt and pepper to taste


1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
2. Cook the ziti pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
3. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium-high heat.
4. Add the pasta sauce and water to the skillet and stir to combine.
5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg, grated Parmesan cheese, and chopped parsley.
6. Add the cooked ziti to the sauce mixture and stir to combine.
7. Stir in the whisked egg mixture.
8. Pour the ziti mixture into a 9x13 inch baking dish.
9. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the top.
10. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
11. Uncover the dish and bake for an additional 25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
12. Let the baked ziti cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
